Alright time to put on our thinking caps boys.  What would you like to see for daily repeatable quests dished out from safe zones?  The idea is that these would be able to be done once ever 22 hours roughly.  

 

Here' some simple ones to start us off so you can get the idea

 

  1. Transport a quest object from one safezone to another without using fast travel.  You must not die or disconnect during this.
  2. Kill X zombies in Y area(s)
  3. Touch X Object(s) at Y area(s)
  4. Complete a solo Liberation
  5. Complete a liberation requiring 2+ players
  6. Kill 3 players
  7. Grab a Poisoned water bottle in X safezone and feed it to a captured zombie NPC in Y safezone

 

Completing daily quests might even earn you reputation with the faction that is offering the daily quests.

Salvage x amount of guns

Create x amount of armours

Kill a player with a grenade

Farm x amount of potatos Kappa

But you could easily just get your friends to die to you.

some more quests ideas

obviously its more about pve because of what IneedThatPuss said

-craft some food/meal/powershake...

-sniper kill above 200m (might be harder and expensive to exploit)

-sell to vendor for 1k gd (put any amount you whant )

-bring a filled fuel pod to a npc in safezone

That is a good idea..bring something new to the game..

you could halso have a trador willing to buy "relic" items. The items would look and use the same model as say a vss, but it would have a golden backround icon and could be sold for a hefty price to this trader.

 

I also think adding "contested areas" would be a good idea. These would be small areas (gassstation size) and would requier no zombies in them. After that players that want a prize must stay inside the area for like 2 minutes. Then x amount of GD will be equally shared with the players in the area. The point then becomes to eliminate as many other players as possible to get as much of the prize as possible.

What are quest good for anyways? Pve players only. Didnt Work out on Warz.
Make some pvp quests. Liberate a city. Weekly: liberate all liberation points.

I like having rare vendor trophy items that basically translate to "you found a bunch of GD!" assuming you make it back to the safezone alive.  

 

Gas zones are something we have planned.

Not sure how you didn't notice but Aftermath is a PVE game with a side of PVP.  Every single update has been moving in that direction.  PVP happens naturally.  I don't need to encourage it at all.  The game is missing all of it's PVE elements right now that gives users a reason to play when NOT pvping obviously.  If all you do is pvp 24/7 when you play, you will be the first to quit playing due to shear boredom.

Ive only been PvPing for 1 and a half years on AM. Still didnt get bored of it. And im not alone on that.

Basicly Artemis is right. The main part of the game is Loot.

All about that.

You get it by farm (making farming basic of the game ) and pvp (killing somebody).

The best feeling is  to kill somebody with an example epic gun(but overall you got to find it first.

Make liberating easier on offical or even make events. like  random place liberation, visible for all on the map! 

You can keep that wierd stuff with exploding generators for private servers.

I've had what I think is an interesting idea since back in the steam days.it would be more like an event than quests but I think it could be really fun if it can even be done.But,the idea is basically have hoards of zombies invade a random safe zone and all the players on the server would have to work together to stop the invasion for prizes/rewards.Maybe low rewards if they are unable to stop the invasion and higher level rewards if they succeed.Maybe also make that safe zone unusable for 2 hours if the players fail to stop the invasion.

Just randomly get a liberated town which is marked on the map. I think that would be fun
